Nathan Beasley has been recognized as one of the top performers of ragtime music. Born and raised in rural Southern Illinois, ragtime was a discovery at an early age. At the age of 17, Nathan became the junior champion of the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest. Since then, he went on to work full time in the railroad industry, and he looks forward to bringing two passions together at the 2026 Fox River Ragtime Festival.
