Drawing influences from Jimmy Blythe, Johnny Dodds, and Jasper Taylor, The Bucktown Stompers are a jazz trio celebrating the music played in the southside of Chicago during the 1920’s and 30’s. The group features Andy Schumm (clarinet) and Paul Asaro (piano) from Chicago Cellar Boys, and recent Windy City transplant, by way of Austin Texas and Davenport Iowa, Ryan Neubauer (washboard).
